Therapy Fees & Payments Standard Fees Individual and couples sessions are 50 minutes long. My fee for individual therapy is $125 and $150 for couples Reduced Fees: I understand that for some people my standard fee is not affordable. For motivated people who are committed to long-term therapy, I keep a number of reduced fee slots. In the first session with clients, I determine the reduced fee which is based on clients’ resources. Insurance: I am an in-network provider for Blue Cross, Blue Shield PPO and Aetna. For clients who are members of those plans, my services are available on a contractual reduced-fee basis. Clients are responsible for a per visit copay, subject to meeting any applicable deductibles and other conditions set by the plans. If you anticipate using insurance, you will want to check with your plan administrator for details on your benefits, including out-of-network benefits. If I am out-of-network for your insurance plan, your plan may reimburse you a portion of the fee. I also submit claims electronically for other PPO insurance plans, or I can provide you with the necessary documentation for you to submit to your insurance company. Regardless of insurance plans and benefits, clients are fully responsible for the payment of fees. Billing: Typically, clients make payments at each session. I generate invoices at the end of each month. Payment is due by the end of the month. I accept cash and personal checks.
